Dr Peter Wurth
Tel 9415 2622 Suite 9, 16-18 Malvern Ave Chatswood David Ackling-Jones - Clinician Dr Wurth has worked with people with Mental Health and cognitive impairment diagnoses over the past 3 decades. He is one of few psychiatrists in Australia to specialise in this area of dual diagnosis. During the 13 years that I have worked in this field many of the people I have been treated by Dr Wurth. Some of these people have been helped by Dr Wurth when other practitioners had not been able to help them. My impression has always been that Dr Wurth has a good understanding of people on the spectrum and that he has sought always to provide people with the best opportunity to live their lives with a minimum amount of medication. There may be other psychiatrist who are more gentle in their bedside manner. But I do not personally know of a psychiatrist with a better understanding of dual diagnosis and helping people to find a medication regime that is sound for them. He has directly treated many hundreds of people with these challenges over the years and has an ongoing good reputation. |
