New NDIS Provider Toolkit
The NDIA have updated the NDIS Provider Toolkit to create a new and improved, user-friendly online resource for providers and potential providers that takes users through the seven steps of the Provider Pathway. It includes fact sheets, step-by-step guides, videos and interactive eLearning activities. See https://providertoolkit.ndis.gov.au
The new Provider Toolkit is an accessible online resource. It also contains interactive eLearning activities to help providers, and potential providers, test their understanding of key concepts and assess whether they are ready to register and work with the NDIS. Some of the key changes are:

- Can you review a bank statement and see if there is anything that you have not authorised?
- Can you keep and organise receipts, bank statements and other paperwork?
- Can you be firm with someone if you don’t like what they are doing to support you?
- Do you understand which skills you do and don’t have when it comes to filling out forms or handling money, and do you know who to ask for help?
- If you want to hire your own staff directly, do you know what the laws are about hiring your own staff?
NDIS Provider one on one Consultation
What? NSW Sydney Provider Engagement team invites providers to register and attend personalised one on one consultations for NDIS registered service providers and providers becoming NDIS registered. These 25 minute sessions will be held with an NDIS staff member and are designed to answer enquiries and resolve any problems being experiencing.

Every Australian Counts is asking you to remind the decision-makers why you need the NDIS to be fully funded. This will put all the responses into a video to be hand-delivered to the Senators.
