More About Karen Morvan

Karen Morvan has been a Chartered Accountant (CA) for over 25 years with extensive experience in Audit, Risk Management and Governance. She currently works in a mutual not for profit insurance company as their auditor and has previously worked in audit and risk management roles in financial services, construction and distribution companies ranging from mutuals to large listed multinational companies and comes from a large audit firm background here and in the UK. She sat on the Steering Committee guiding research into the development of the Mutual Value Measurement Framework by Monash University.
She has held various roles in school P&Fs including 5 years as Treasurer with Aspect SES, and taught in the CA postgraduate program for a number of years.
Karen is the mother of two children with autism and is passionate about helping people with disability and the carers that support them.She is a CA, a professional member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
