What is Flexible Respite?
Respite is short-term and time limited breaks from the caring role
while providing meaningful activities for the person with a disability including:

To be eligible for a Flexible Respite service carers must care for a person who has a diagnosed disability, is aged between 0 - 65 years and is living fulltime with or receiving primary care from from a carer.
A new iPhone app launched by the NSW Government will take the stress out of planning fun and affordable school holiday activities, according to the Minister for Citizenship and Communities Victor Dominello.
The Go Play app and website showcase hundreds of arts, cultural, sport and recreational activities on offer from 15 NSW Government agencies and cultural institutions. iPhone users can download the free app at the App Store and can access the website at www.goplay.nsw.gov.au.
App and website users can search by date, age range, map view or key words. Information, like the availability of toilets, cafés and disabled access, is also provided. The integrated 131500 transport planner lets you find the best public transport route to your venue.
